Biography

I initially qualified in aromatherapy and massage, later qualify in beauty therapy . I worked as a beauty therapist on cruise ships overseas , then in spas and salons nationally. After completing my teaching qualification, I taught and assessed students at my old college in Gateshead . Then I taught Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapies and Holistic Therapies for ITEC in Bahrain ,Middle East .
Having been in the industry for over 30 years , I’ve worked with many brands and now I ONLY use what is scientifically proven to achieve real results. My passion for “skin health “ started when I worked with iiaa . I was one of two educators at the time. The company was pioneering in identifying importance of gut health and the link to healthy skin, feeding the skin topically with the award-winning cosmeceutical brand environment skincare created in South Africa by Dr Fernandes. Also feeding the skin from within with the advanced nutrition programme, just the best possible combination to get real results for healthy skin but also to maintain healthy skin for a lifetime. Each visit to the salon for new clients begins with a digital consultation where we assess and look at this skin and put together a realistic treatment plan, including home care and salon treatment treatments. It is important that I build up an excellent rapport with my clients so they know they can trust me and any concerns or questions they can they have they know they can ask me and they will get an honest answer . I always say it is teamwork 40% of what I can do in the salon in 60% of what they do at home.
Everyone is welcome and everyone is treated as an individual and their treatment plan is bespoke.
