With over three decades of hairdressing experience, Andrew Barton is renowned as hairdressing royalty.
During his career, he has amassed an impressive collection of prestigious awards, including British Hairdresser of the Year and British Hair Icon. Best known as the hairdressing expert from the hit makeover TV show, 10 Years Younger, Andrew has an extensive roster of creative collaborations from fashion, beauty, arts and celebrity.
Andrew is the figurehead of his own hairdressing empire, with an award-winning signature hair care range and collection of electrical styling tools, which is currently on a journey of internationalisation. He is Creative Director for Racoon International, steering the brand’s creative direction and leading the Artistic and Education teams in delivery, artistry and skillset.
His appointment in 2018 as Creative Director for Headmasters, one of the most well-known and celebrated salon groups in the industry, ensures their dedication to creating beautiful, confidence boosting hair - one of Andrew’s many trademarks. Further to this appointment Andrew has become the Franchise Owner of Headmasters flagship Mayfair salon.
HIs latest project, Andrew Barton London Education (ABLE), is a contemporary training programme which offers colleges of further education comprehensive add-on training to their existing portfolio of hairdressing education to run alongside the NVQ.
No stranger to TV Andrew is hosting and presenting The Fellowship LIFE STORIES a new series featuring renowned hairdressers as the show’s host and presenter.
Andrew is the Hairdresser Ambassador for the Little Princess Trust, dedicating his time and skills to helping the trust give hair and hope to children and young people by providing free real hair wigs and funding vital research into childhood cancers.
